First of all, we would have to establish that any power I chose would come without possible defects. Any ability I would have would be under my complete control, like, if I could read minds, I would be able to read however many minds I wanted when I wanted, and I could turn it off. Anyways, if I could have any power, it would be the power to have all powers. Yes, I know this would make me very overpowered, but I would (try) to use only one ability at a time. I feel like in today's day and age, and in all days and ages, there aren’t any villains to fight. There are criminals, but the police handle them, and because there aren’t many imminent threats, I would get bored having just one power. Who needs super strength when you only need normal strength for everyday life? Having the power to have every power is much less limiting than just having one.

But that being said, there are some powers that I wouldn’t mind being my only power. Here they are: 1. Teleportation 2. Being able to make portals 3. Reading minds 4. Time control 5. The control of water (water bending)

Teleportation would save a bunch of time and energy. If I have to go somewhere early in the morning, I can schedule my wake up time later than usual. The portal thing is pretty similar to teleportation, but it’s more for going to other dimensions. I also couldn’t use it that much in the real world because it would cause a commotion if someone saw me step out of a portal that appeared out of thin air. Reading minds would mostly be a power I would use to entertain myself. But I think it’s an invasion of privacy, so I would only really use it randomly on strangers for a small time frame. Time control is dangerous and very likely to go wrong, so I probably wouldn’t use it much. If I did use it, I would make it where I could observe the past without being there physically (so I can’t change the present). I would also pause time in a way where I could move, but everyone else was frozen. That would be helpful and a great way to pick up hobbies. The last one would be the power I would most want. Water bending is a defensive and offensive power that has a lot of variations. I’m not a fighter, but it would still be fun to learn how to use that power.
